Happy New Year Field Trippers!

Beaming with light into 2016, we are reminded of the cyclical nature of life. With new beginnings, new intentions and resolutions...its the perfect time to pick up mindful habits. In alignment with this months workshops on meditation and charka balancing. Here are some mindful practices for the New Year.  Remember, you don't have to wait for a new year to have a new beginning...each day is an opportunity to launch positive change into your everyday. 

1.  Mindful Breath - bring awareness to the process of breathing, focus on the intake and  release of each breath as it fills you with the energy of life.

2. Mindful Nature - focus on a single object in nature, give it your full attention and explore its intricacies...now align yourself with its presence and energy in this world.

3. Mindful Body - move your focus through the body. Start at your toes and like a peaceful wave or warm beam of light, move your attention up through your body...cloak yourself in your own presence. 

4. Mindful Movement - walking, yoga, tai chi -- focus on the breath and movement of the body, noticing the sensations in moments of both stillness and movement.
