Noah Levine is a Buddhist teacher based in Venice, California. A world-renowned teacher in his own right, he studied under Jack Kornfield as well as being guided by his father Stephen Levine. Noah went on to begin his own organization Against the Stream, helping thousands to heal from addiction from a Buddhist perspective.

I was first introduced when my step-mother offered his book 'Dharma Punx' which tells his story of punk rock, addiction and spiritual journey. While I could relate to the energy of the book and enjoyed his sense of humor, it wasn't until a few years later, once I had began my own spiritual practice that I could relate to his experience.

Noah is one of the few teachers that sits (in half-lotus) truly close to my practice, and is one of the main inspirations behind my own talks on creativity and spirituality through IYASU.CO
