Artist Lindsey Fox at Field Trip

When one thinks of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, all the gear involved comes to mind: topographic maps, compass, food, backpack, protective clothing, etc.  But one artist hiked the trail with all the necessary gear plus a sketchbook and watercolors in tow.  Field Trip is pleased to feature the amazing artwork created by artist, Lindsey Fox, on her epic journey hiking the PCT.   Lindsey's beautiful and intricate watercolor paintings capturing her journey along the 2650 miles of trail are now decorating the walls of the shop.  Hiking from Mexico to Canada, Lindsey brings her experiences on the trail into a new realm for those to see.  Using the sketch book to capture those raw moments. Each painting magically captures the views, vistas, and the mountain tops she encountered along the way.  Lindsey's artwork tells a story of imaginary and moments that no photograph could capture.   "Watercolor allowed me to express my feelings not he trails well as how the landscape effected me," she explains.

If you have not already had a chance to stop into the shop to see her paintings, we invite you to please do.  All originals and prints are available for purchase here in the shop.
