Par Avion Tea was inspired by founder, Alexandra Mysoor's childhood memories of receiving care packages from her grandmother in India. The packages were full of special teas, spices, knick knacks and a letter, it always transported her to another world far away. On those packages she noticed a “Par Avion” stamp, which means "By Air"… that came to symbolize for me a connection of senses, traditions, dreams and stories that always took me on a journey – out of that came “Par Avion Tea”.
The teas are produced seasonally in small quantities in an artisan method that involves hand-picking and hand-sorting quality tea leaves. They are then hand blended with care, so you can take a moment for yourself. Each tea comes in their signature storage tins designed to keep the tea fresh for extended periods of time.
