Textile Tales: Jenny Pennywood

Doesn't the name Jenny Pennywood whisk you away to a dreamland? Well, it makes us feel as through we could curl up in the sun with our heads on triangle pillows, indigo dyed - of course!

Jenny Pennywood, was created as the alter ego of artist Jen Garrido in 2008, as a means of separating her Fine Art painting from her work as an Illustrator & Graphic Designer. Jen is a California girl, through and through --  born & raised in Los Angles, CA, she received her BFA in painting from Sonoma State University & her MFA in studio art from Mills College in Oakland, CA. Since then Jen has been a teacher, exhibiting artist, and the co-owner & designer for a small paper-goods business -- but today we love her for bringing us Jenny Pennywood. Together, Jen & Jenny create prints, products, home goods, pattern design, as well as custom wedding & event paper goods.

Field Trip is lucky enough to surround ourselves with some of Jenny's lovingly crafted home goods, including -- pillows, throws, tea towels, & zippered pouches. On any given day you may find us propped up against a "Dashes & Moons" pillow or with a linen, raw-edged throw over our knees.

Jenny Pennywood keeps us dreaming!
